Collect America are franchises that are sold to law firms. These lawyers are collecting money on their own behalf, not for any creditors. They buy bad debts form credit card companies for pennies on the dollar then try to double the amount. The Davis Law Firm-Collect America Franchise is a husband and wife team Russell & Sandi Davis. Sandi Davis refers to her husband as "The Client" but he is nothing but a greedy lawyer that is getting rich on the misfortune of people with credit problems. These people will file false liens against your property without summoning to court to defend yourself. If you have come across these folks they are rip-off artists, and have to be stopped. File an online complaint with the FTC & report them to the California Bar Association.

First, I am not married to a person named Sandi, and never have been. No such person in my employ is named Sandi. Further, I have never purchased bad debt and collected it for myself-ever.
The entire substance of this complaint is patently fabricated as it relates to me or my practice.
