I was employed by College America doing business as Stevens Henager Colleges from 3/10/2003 to 2/4/2004. During that time I rarely had books for my classes, students that had books had to turn their books in at the end of the term, if I needed any additional materials I had to pay for it out of my own pocket, teachers were paid between $12.00 and $18.00 per hour and asked to work day and night with no additional compensation nor overtime for any hours worked over 40 and without any benefits, teachers received no sick days

(I missed three days in one year due to an injury in the school's parking lot and I was fired), students did not receive a good education due to lack of materials and very high turnover (teachers would be hired and the next week gone), the schools reputation in the community is very bad, the President of the college is impossible to work for, teachers always fear for their jobs, teachers cannot voice their opinion about anything. A very unproductive, unhapy environment.

Potential students and teachers should stay very far away from this company
