The school president, Tim, and his right hand man, Dwight, terminated my service at their missionary pilot training school after I contacted the FAA because they refused to listen and continually made excuses with no representation of Christian character. Tim had been told numerous times by numerous aviation professionals that his actions and the school's practices were not only illegal, but completely unsafe and against internationally accepted safety practices. Someone was going to get hurt or killed. For this, I called the FAA. There had already been a near gear up landing where the aircraft made contact with the ground, had a horrible propeller strike incident, and decided to add power for a go around. Even more, student log books have been illegally signed by pilots not holding certificates to make endorsements. Ground school was being taught by non-certified instructors with their logbooks being signed off by flight instructors at the direction of Tim. Students are not receiving the training in which they pre-pay. More students have been kicked out of the school for not complying with Tim and Dwight than have graduated. No student has ever completed the flight training promised to them in their academic contracts. Maintenance is completed with no reference to maintenance manuals or with precision tools. The FAA investigated and corroborated the few complaints that I had filed to initiate action. As the world knows, freedom of information requests can be completed for free with the FAA if someone does not believe my report. As a missionary, I cannot stand for unethical and unbiblical leadership. Worse, because I stood on truth and opposed failed leadership, I was terminated from what was an absolutely amazing position as the Director of Operations and adjunct academic faculty. While I was at the school, I was blessed beyond measure to bring my global experience to the classroom with opportunities for students to video conference with missionaries and local national pastors around the world. My termination was a sad day.

For parents, do not allow your young adults to attend this institution until there is a change of leadership. I could never fully cope if someone gets hurt or killed because of negligence at this school. For anyone else considering this school, the vision is awesome, the leadership is a failure. For your safety, for your future, and for your overall well-being, please, stay away from this place until someone holds leadership accountable and appoints new leaders.
