I was with Collegiate Housing through High-Tech in Phoenix for 3 months. I was evicted 6 months ago for simply letting my boyfriend keep some of his stuff in my closet(seeing as how he was HOMELESS and sleeping in his TRUCK because Collegiate Housing didn't seem to realize that the Mold growing in his previous apartment is UNHEALTHY).

Then I come to find out that my ex-roommate was the one who caused the eviction by making up stories and saying that my boyfriend had stayed overnight. Later I found out that my now ex-roommate was working for collegiate as a Resident Advisor.

This confused me because last I'd heard, drugs were not allowed AT ALL in collegiate apartments, yet I know for a fact that she (my ex-roomate)does speed on a regular basis.

And as far as overnight visitors go, she was living with her boyfriend, who is also in collegiate housing, for at least 8 months now and the CHS Rep at our school KNOWS about this. She was reported by me, another roommate, AND her boyfriend's roommate, not to mention most of the neighbors.

Their representative simply called us "tattle tales" and told us to go away. Then they tried to charge me for cleaning a different roommates room and tried to say that I didn't pay the fines that they give for breaking lease when I had the receipts to prove it.

My parents filed a Better Business Bureu report but the BBB never received a response.
