Complaint Review: Collegiate Housing Sevices

Collegiate housing services is a very unsafe place to send your kids....there are criminals who slip past the screening because they were convicted as a minor or they have not been convicted and we are forced to live with these people. They will also try to stack up unnecessary charges to your account like cleaning and $50 late fees on notices you didn't get. I worked for them for 1 and a half  and was personally witness to the abuses of position by untrained, petty, vindictive, and ignorant local directors who like to put people together in the same house, who they know will not get along,just to see what happens. They put these kids in these apartments with no activities and no structure and no accountability and turn them loose!! To my knowledge at least 1 student has died from an overdose of pills and liquor at the Dallas/Irving TX location due to the fact there is no checks or balances to keep the students safe from the local environment or each other. I have personally witnessed and reported  numerous acts of violence and assault on the students by other students and the C.H.S. director did absolutely nothing about it!!! I was told by a director during move-ins when i inquired about who was moving into my residence.."There are no strangers in Collegiate Housing!" and i responded that there were in fact no strangers in housing...just junkies, drunks, criminals, and thieves!!   If this is the atmosphere you want you or your kids to live in by all means sign right up!!!....  if not do not live in Collegiate Housing Services because you will live to regret it!!...or maybe you wont!!
