Complaint Review: Collette Thone Of Soignes Toy Poodles/Pomeranians

I purchased a show/breeder quality AKC reg'd Toy Poodle male black puppy in 2006.He developed an underbite (as confirmed by 2 vets as genetic defect) and this puppy also went oversize.BOTH of which made him NOT suitable for what I purchased him for, he was to be my stud! Collette said "and" promissed in writing, she would replace him "EVEN THOUGH" she felt his bad bite was due to retained baby teeth!(She didn't believe the diagnoses of the vets., one of which has been one for over 30 years and he also consulted with a canine orthadontist.He said she could call him to discuse his bite BUT she never did)!!"Her emails as proof are on my website". She wanted a signed vet document stating his size, which was an extra cost to me of $72.88 (for nothing it seems as she states his oversize had nothing to do with why she was replaceing him)!She demanded I have him neutered, placed in a pet home and send back his AKC papers. I did what she asked! She said I could sell him to help with my costs,sold him for $600 Can.,which I was thankful for.(I had over $1400 invested in him)!If she would of required I ship him back, I would of done it!If she would of said I can only sell him for so much money, I would of done it!If she said any money I sold him for over a certain amount had to be sent to her, I would of done it! She NEVER said anything like this!She gave me "9" months of a run around and now is using the underbite as an excuse for not replacing him (stating its my faUlt for not removing the baby teeth! SHE PROMISSED IN MANY EMAILS TO REPLACE HIM, "EVEN THOUGH", SHE FELT THIS WAY ABOUT HIS BITE!!!! ALSO STATING THE MONEY I SOLD HIM FOR WAS HER MONEY "EVEN THOUGH SHE SAID I COULD KEEP IT TO HELP WITH "MY" COSTS!! EVEN OUTRIGHT LYING, STATING I SAID I WOULD "GIVE HIM AWAY"!! "NEVER SAID ANY SUCH THING, THAT WOULD BE CRAZY!!I didn't hear from her for 3 months, with me sending "many" emails with no replys,in the mean time! I finally found an ad where she was selling a Pom puppy, so sent an email through there and she responded it may take up to 1 year to get a replacement puppy (as you read her emails on the website, you will see she states it will be 4 months from the date on that email, Jan/07,she will have a replacement puppy for me)! I asked for my money back (less $100 to cover her costs), so thats $600 U.S., I'm rightfully entitled to as a refund! I had enough of the run around she was giving me! I know she had "at least" 7 litters of Toy Poodle puppies and can't believe there was not "one" puppy suitable for me out of all of them!! You can read in many of her emails, she states she has this puppy or that puppy coming up, or asking me about shipping because the weather had been hot there for the past 2 weeks "WHY SEND ME THESE EMAILS IF SHE HAD NO PUPPY FOR ME"!! This was all very heartbreaking to me! This puppy was all I had and what I hoped would be a beginning for me in a small breeding program. Collette has outright lied to others, trying to hide what she is doing to me! She has threatened me with lawyers/telling her breeder friends what I'm doing "WHICH IS NOTHING BUT TRYING TO GET WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY MINE" etc., etc!! She is an unethical breeder and doesn't keep "her" promisses/agreements! I WILL NEVER LET HER GET AWAY WITH DEFRAUDING ME! BEWARE TO ALL PUPPY PURCHASERS OUT THERE, STAY AWAY FROM COLLETTE THONE OF SOIGNES KENNEL IN BAYARD, NEBRASKA,U.S.A. She deleted my reviews on Puppyfind, where she advertises, until finally I emailed Puppyfind, told them what she was doing and "they" put my post up themselves after reading the emails! She then took all her ads off that site! She is trying to hide what she is doing to me! She is also known to advertise on Nextdaypets website. I WILL NEVER GIVE UP AND LET HER GET AWAY WITH WHAT SHE IS DOING TO ME! WILL POST MY STORY WHERE-EVER I CAN!
