Colonial Home Warranty Beware ! They word their Policies so that nothing winds up being covered. Had a "pipe" leak on a water tank that caused erosion at the base of the pipe...Not Covered. Wilmington, Delaware
I would not recommend this home warranty company to anyone !!! I had an undetected pipe leak that caused a more pronounced leak around where the pipe comes up from the tank. They have their policy worded so well that they do not cover any "tank issues". this was not a tank issue. This was explained to Colonial by myself and my plumbing contractor. I even offered to send pictures but they would not hear of it. So obviously whatever kind of claim I file will probably not be covered. I was told by 2 seperate plumbing contractors that "Old Republic" and "2-10 Home Buyers Warranty" are excellent warranty companies in case you are researching good warranty companies.
