Renovations are always a painful affair, which requires regular surveillance. It was few months back, when I planned to renovate my penthouse. Being at the countryside, this penthouse is one of the most beautiful properties, I ever owned. But, my experience turned into one of the huge losses, which I ever incurred.

But, the actual nightmare came during the assigned date of delivery. When I visited my penthouse, after the scheduled date, it was far from completion. They asked me an additional amount as, according to them, my penthouse has several related issues, which cannot be solved without additional payment. After enquiring the related issues, they hardly had any confident answers. No replacements were done to the washroom and kitchen tiles, wooden flooring remained untouched, cheap quality paint was used, etc. It was an absolute nightmare to assign these people my beautiful penthouse, which deliberately turned into a crap.

Of course, they have a bigger brand name with attractive portfolios and positive online reviews, but their service is terrible. Though, I refused to pay the remaining amount, yet, the renovation cost me a fortune.
