Colorado LegalShield law office [Riggs, Abbney, Neal, et. al] Prepaid Legal Legal Shield's Riggs Abney Gives Assertive, Incompetent, Legal Advice Englewood Colorado
I have been with Legal Shield over a 15 decades. Based on my experiences with Legal Shield [previously Prepaid Legal] in Colorado, their attorneys are not your typical attorneys. Most are inexperienced with criminal and basic employment law matters using assertive tactics outputting the most basic solution. 99.5% of my experiences with the Legal Shield [aka. Riggs, Abney, et. al] originated and ended through a recorded phone call. Yes, they do record phone calls. Be careful to not mis-interpret legal assistance as client/attorney representation because you are never represented by them unless you sign a legal charter. To test their knowledge of the law, I would verify legal data obtained from a reputable law firm outside of the Legal Shield network. All advice given from Riggs, Abney, et. al] was premature and misrepresented on many levels. As a result, I decided to move on cancelling my membership and saving my fiat. It is a good thing I decided to not hire them for any legal matters! I value my life and freedom and refuse to have it taken away by mis-representation. Not worth the price! I paid over $3,000.00 in subscription fees for the last 15 years for this worthless legal assistance service. I learned to shop around for other legal assistance services breaking the monopoly of Legal Shield Services offered by Riggs, Abney, et. al. for Colorado. Many other legal assistance subscriptions have more than one law firm per state compared to Legal Shield; offering superb legal advice. Simply, "you get what you pay for." Having an attorney in your corner is not enough. A reputable attorney/firm that listens to their clients and competently, advise on legal matters is the goal.
