In Dec 2002 we signed up with Colorado Prime for a meat service. Our meat was delivered the beginning of Jan 2003. The service for the first 2 months was fine until a sales rep came on Mar 6, 2003 and would increase our discount from 30% to 60% if we bought a bbq. The increase of discount would pay for the bbq so our bill amount would be the same. So we did. This is where the night mare started.

On Mar 21, 2003 a seperate delivery company delivered the bbq - a "propane" bbq not the "natural gas" bbq we had ordered and signed a contract on.

On Mar 25, 2003 a customer service rep from Colorado Prime phoned us of the mix up and told us the delivery co would be contacting us to pick it up.

We played phone tag with the delivery co from Mar 28 to Apr 22, 2003. On Apr 22 my wife was phoned on her cell phone and told that the pick up of the bbq was on hold because Colorado Prime was going out of business.

My wife phoned Colorado Prime on Apr 22 to be told that no the co was not going out of business and Donna (the cust. serv rep) would find out why we were told this and get back to us.

On Apr 23 my wife phoned Donna again regarding our bill that came the day prior and was $102.00 more than previous months. We were told that the computer only showed 50% discount and she would fix it but we would have to contact the finace co about the bill itself. The finance co was contacted and a dispute letter was being mailed.

As of Apr 29 we had not heard back from Colorado Prime. My wife called Donna again but was told she was on another call and would call her back. As of May 5 still no call so I called Donna and was told that we were going to have to pay for the bbq even though it was not what we ordered because the co is restructuring and not dealing in appliances anymore.

On May 7 I faxed letters to the CEO, customer service, and the finance co. telling what was going on and what we want. All we want is for them to pick up the bbq and return our account to the way it was prior to Mar 6.

As of today May 11 we have heard NOTHING from the company. Besides writting this complaint we have filed a complaint with the better business burea, consumer affairs, and speaking with our family attorney. They will not screw with me or my credit!
