You, as a student, are ultimately responsible to fill out your TA paperwork. Once you submit it correctly the student account department will bill the VA. Looks like your EO wasnt helpful and ignorant to the whole process. You can go online and complete it yourself. You also read and signed a student handbook that outlined all CTU policies, including billing. You signed it and agreed to it. So you signed in, not once, not twice, not three times, but four and thought you wouldnt be billed for it? Read your handbook and read your TA procedures. They will be the same at every school.

I think Maria enrolled for the wrong reason, she probably thinks that education is free and not a investment. I'm sure she wasnt enrolled or controlled by thugs but she probably had a problem following the process every university has. I bet Maria wasnt willing to make the investment for her education.

Colorad Technical University goes the extra mile for their students and their needs. I have known of many students who financial aid accomodates with their payments and tuition. Its funny how starting in may, one month later is better for someone just so they can come up with more money for their tuition?

How much money can you come up with in a month? Colorado Technical Universiy is accredited and has a high reputation, some people have a hard time investing into their future and a situation like this gives universities a bad name. The university does not swindle or scam anyone, yes it is a business but the goal and end result is changing lives, investing in lives and seeing someone succeed. I feel for people that don't take the time to speak with someone fully to evaluate their options.

When you tell someone you want to pay out of pocket what do you expect? Please dont bash the university, we have amazing students succeeding and they dont need negativity like yours.

I went from just getting information to being sucked in by a bunch of thugs. and even though Im
not going to this college there still calling and harrasing me and wont leave me alone.

it started by my inquiring about the school to recieving a phone call, before you know it I was enrolled and accepted. how does a college accept you if they havent recieved your transcript from a previous college or high school? and that was (flag number one.)

then I repeately told them if I wasnt recieveing financial aid that I would have to pay for it my self providing that I could pay it on a monthly basis. so ps I didnt get financial aid, but they were trying to force me into taking it as a loan. I had just payed off all my bills and unless I was going to do this my way I wasnt going thru them, and all I got was dont worry dont worry we will work with you, well before you know it Im recieving emails to sign for a student loan, so now pissed I kept telling them I am not taking any loans, oh dont worry its a computer issue will take care of it.

Flag number 2) in the mean time if I was to start I informed them I couldnt start till may and the so called advisor sign me up for April.
now there really pushing me to have in all my paper work to either take a loan or send the first payment of 1300.00 again I told them that I wasnt taking a loan for the third time and 1300.00 is to much a month for me to pay. they had me talk to another advisor which by the way I think I spoke to like 7 different people during this whole thing. and this guy is telling me what a great investment on my future this would be to go back to school etc,etc, which I agree,but I will not be forced into doing something I dont want to do.

something in my head just kept telling me, something is not right here. flag # 3) now Im being slamed with email after email that class is starting my books are on the way,they need my payment, and wanted some documents (e) signed. now finaly I said thats it, something is not right here , I cant afford to pay you what you want, Im not signing anything and dont send any books.

so I recieved the books anyway, now Im real pissed off and now I had to threaten them that if they didnt stop sending emails,calling me, I will be fileing a harressment suit against them. then I thought it had stopped and today April 9th they still have the nerve to call me again to say they just wanted to be sure that I hadnt change my mind and wanted to go.

NOW I ask you what college does this? they went way way behond what a normal school would do? what school enrolls you in a class without signatures, with out payments, send books, and keeps calling and sending emails that I have now had to block. this goes way behond harressment. Like I said I smelled a rat here and this school should be shut down for there outragious behavior. no one should have to go thru this.

but I consider myself lucky that I didnt waste my money after reading some of the other reports about this school and what other people have gone thru and my intuition was right!

I would like to see your bill for 4000$ for one class. Even if you were in a Master's program one class is not going to cost you that much.

Hey Guy it happened to me....after taking all of the bogus courses.....and goning through the Nightmare of VOC rehad to pay for it the very last course i took was very difficult. A little to difficult i started for the first time to start failing a course i was shocked i worked hard did all the assigments studied and sure enopugh nothing seemed to help me pass this course...i started checking with my other class mates and noticed that alot of them were also haveing difficultis passing the course (15 out of 32 to be exact). To make a long story short 15 of us failed by very slim margins....Don't get me wrong i am not some deadbeat that wants to be givin a grade by this was odd and to make it wose the retake for the course was $4000.....ah i jst saw the lightbuld go off over your head YEP i had been effectivly SCAMED!....i took the course stupid me and my Diploma was sent along with a CD of my "Virtual Graduation".....oh and a bill for $10000 yep boys and girls they wanted more money. so for a 4 year degree i ended up costing you the taxpayer $38,000 nice huh. the diploma is preety though.
