Complaint Review: Colton's Steak House and Grill.

I have done everything in my power to get a certain situation resolved but it seems that this company seriously has ZERO concern about its customers.

In August of 2018, my wife and I went to Colton's for lunch.  This place has been one of our "go to" lunch locations for a long time.  When we arrived, we were greeted and seated promptly and was told that our server would be with us in a moment.  We were seated in an alcove of four booths.  There were two women in a booth in front of us and what appeared to be a server standing there, talking to them.

After about 20 minutes, this woman came to our booth and pertly said, "Can I get you something to drink?"  We ordered water and this woman went right back to talking to the customers in the other other booth.  About 10 more minutes passed and she finally brought our water but not the complementary rolls. 

Another to or so minutes passed and she took our food order.  Our rolls arrived at the same time as did our meal.  By this time, we had been there almost an hour.  During this entire time, the server was firmly planted at the other booth, talking to the two woman.  We ate and against my better judgement, I left a tip.

Now, at that time, my wife had a serious knee injury, which later requried surgery, and had to have help getting up.  This server very loudly called attention to my wife's condition and poked fun at it.  Before we left, I requested to talk to a manager.  After about 10 more minutes, I was told that the manager couldn't talk to me.  We left.

I called the next day and requested to talk to the manager and again, no manager was available.  I contacted the corporate complaint line and filed a complaint with no response.  I filed several more over then next few weeks and again, I received no response.  Finally, in October, after threatening legal action, I got a call for someone that stated she was the manager of that location.  And it gets even stranger from here.

The manager all but called me a liar.  To the point that she accused me of making this whole situation up.  Now, on Facebook, there has been many, many complaints made about this location on a local restaurant group.  I responed with the problems that I had and was immediately attacked by the manager of this location.  And this continued until I left the group.

This "manager" asked me in a public forum what it would take for this to be fixed.  Well, an apololgy from her and for the district manager to talk to me in person about the situation would be the minimun.  Next, I want an apology from the server that was there that day.  As far as food, I will never go back to that location unless the manager is removed.  I do, however, want a refuned for the $30.00 that I spent that day.

There is zero sense in what happened to my wife and I.  I have never seen such shoddy service.

I have waited now a total of four years to hear from coorperate on this issue.  Colton's lost a very good customer.
