Complaint Review: COLUMBIA HOUSE RECORDS

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am in need of advise on how to lodge a formal complaint again Columbia House Records (you know the 10 CD's for a penny deal, buy three more in a year etc.) What they do and I know from experience is after you fulfill you obligation you are still a member... the catch is, they don't notify you of anything, they believe you are now re-obligated to purchase more items, nor do they send you anything to review to make a purchase even if you wanted to. Next thing you know you receive a collection notice from a collection agency.

This recently happened to our daughter (who lives with us, so I see the mail) and it happened to my husband and I about two years ago with them. We were so badgered by them we ended up speaking to the super's manager, finally got a catalog, buying more just to shut them up. We followed up with several phone calls to ensure we were cancelled. I refuse to be bullied like that again. Thanks for any help you can provide,
