Complaint Review: Columbia Telecommunications And Frys Electronics

I also purchased a set of these 2 way radios back in June of 2003. I sent all the things that where asked for regarding the rebate. I keep a spread sheet to track rebates I have sent in and noticed that this was going on to 16 weeks, and no rebate.

I have also called 3 or 4 times, with either no answer, an answering machine to leave a message , or a message on an e-mail address to check on your rebate.

Well as all the other people have already mentioned, no returned phone calls and no response to 2 e-mails sent.
I have talked to Frys customer service in person and they did take copies of my reciept and said they would see what they could do. Have not heard anything yet.There was a fairly long list of people who have also complained, that they showed me, so we are not alone.

I will be honest, I have always received good service from Fry's Electronics in the past and I would be surprised if they are at all to blame for this problem.I am also sorry to say that I was dumb enough to buy a charger and batteries from the same outfit. You guessed it they had a rebate and yes it has not shown up either.
