My 73 year old mother has been making agreed upon payments to Aspire every month. Her credit report says she is over 120 days late as of November 2007. It states she has not been current since January 2007. She has talked to them numerous times. The account is closed. She also has a closed Emerge account in the same "late" status.

Checking her credit report yesterday, I noticed that Emerge, listed under Compucredit, has the same phone number as Aspire, listed under Columbus B&T Georgia.

Even more curious, On the TransUnion report the Compucredit PO box is 105555, On the Equifax report, CB&T has PO Box 105555. CB&T has a completely different address on Transunion and Compucredit has a different address on Equifax.

Her credit report is perfect except for these 2 accounts. What can she do to correct these?
