When I signed up with Comcast this time, I was told that my monthly bill would be $131 monthly. I have an email stating the amount I would pay. I had been reluctant after not having Cable Service for one week, many interruptions and upon calling the company I get an voice message that the company was having several problems including outages, and problems with their new remotes. They stated they would credit my account. I didn't see much credits. Then I get my bill. Much to my surprise it went from $51 to $69, to $491 and ow is over $500. I had this new service on July 24. Did not even have it a month, before the bills became excessive. I called Customer Service, very angry after seeing my bill. The person tried to convince me it was OK telling me that the bills roll over when changes are made, thus justifying the overcharges. I was at this time $69 owing to the company after paying a small amount of $34. I was skeptical due to seeing  a bill of over $361 at the time. This billing cycle I now see a new amount owed of $528.63 and after agreeing to pay $212 on the 31st. This would leave a balance of $227. I would like to know how does this amount equal $131 monthly as I was told I would pay. 

When I First called, I asked for the service that specifically had the Syfy channels and requested other channels. The original caller made a mistake, didn't listen and gave me basic. I called them back. They convinced me the first time to accept at 2 year contract with the company. That contract was broke in my opinion as the customer service rep failed to offer me the service requested. I got the second bill which said that I would be paying around $154 monthly, plus taxes. I explained to them overcharging taxes is illegal and I would be paying taxes from my location only. I had been ripped off previously by this company who in the past had accused me of not returning a box, which I had witnesses stating otherwise. I had proof also but after trying to debate with them, they gave me the run around and claimed there was no one to give the paperwork to. This lie went on my credit report. 

They did the exact same thing to my son, charging him the exact same amount on his report. Now here we go again, this time they are overcharging me. I feel like I have been mislead and scammed. My bill should not be this high at all. I got a shut off notice, and my Internet was temporary interrupted as well although they said I had time to pay, by the 23th of Aug. I agreed to pay on the 31st, but called and ask if I can change cards on that agreement and they tell me they cannot. It is always something with this company. I am very disappointed. It is bad that we pay high bills for reruns on TV, and constantly being asked ot pay more money for this TV program and that one. Every day it is the same routine, they want more money. I am very angry at this point. I feel that I have been scammed.
