Boy oh boy, if Comcast just bought you cable provide (AT&T) then all I can say is You Poor b*****d!

So here's what happened - Comcast just bought AT&T Broadband, and immediately increased our prices. And not just a little. We're talking going from $42.95 to $56.95. That's a 32% increase.

Okay, so no choice but to bend over and take it.

Then to add insult to injury, last Tuesday my service was disconnected. Comcast doesn't know what happened, just says that it's gone. So my websites, email accounts, web access, all just GONE. They don't know how or why, just that for some reason they disconnected it and it will be 7-10 days to reconnect me. Un-friggin believable!

I mean, the account is just a software thing in their computers, shouldn't take 7-10 days to make reactivate it, right? And after all it is their idiocy that created this situation.

And then today (7 days later) what do I get in the mail? If you guessed an apologetic letter you guessed wrong - I received a bill for my March-April service, which I didn't had because they disconnected me. Oh and they sent the bill the same day they screwed up and disconnected my account.

If there is ANY WAY you can avoid doing business with these jokers, go for it! Get one of those little satellite dishes and DSL, but stay the hell away from Comcast if you value your sanity.
