I spoke with an associate online through chat and was looking just for internet. The associate offered a considerably discounted  package of $35 a month which included basic cable and internet. Excited about the deal I was getting I accepted. 2 months passed and I was enjoying the service but received no bill. I then received a bill threatening to cancel my service if i did not pay $218 in fees. Confused I called Comcast and asked why I didn't receive a bill and they said it was sent to my email. I told them I didn't get it and asked what email. They said the one I sent up when I created my Comcast user account, I told them I never made one. 


I decided to move on from the back and forth and asked for an itemized list of my charges. Apparently I requested an upgrade to the classic package that was an extra $12. Even though I didn't ask for this it still wasn't enough to amount to everything I was charged. They then told me it was the total of my $50 cable package, $19 internet, $12 extra a month classic upgrade and installation of internet. I told them about the package I was given and the said there was no such package offered. Now after this whole debacle I've gotten used to cable again but refuse to pay so much for crappy basic cable.
