Comcast Cable ripoff False advertising via us mail procaliming untrue cable and internet service offer Seattle Washington
Comcast sent me a mail offer that clearly stated, I quote: "Add Comcast digital cable to your current Comcast high-speed Internet service and get both for only $33 per month for one year." This was the headline in the ad and the small Asterix indicating special restrictions stated several things about the availability of service and how the promotional offer was only available for one year, however it did not say that the true offer was $33 for each service. The bold headline advertisement clearly indicates $33 per month for both services for one year. Upon the calling to sign up for this service Comcast and for me that the offer was $33 for each service.
It is illegal to state "both" to imply "each"
I truly believe this is a blatant form of false advertising under the Laham Act.
Any help dealing with this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
