Comcast (Digital Phone Service) paying for full service on two phones, but receiving intermittent service Atlanta Fort Pierce Florida
For more than a year, I've suffered with intermittent phone service. I've complained, and they've sent technicians to my home numerous times, but the problems still persist.
The last two technicians who came out explained that the problem was not in my home, but at the phone terminal--they both said that comcast was working on it, and asked that I give them a few days. Well, it's been a few months, with no results.
During the past year, I've experienced the following:
1. loud static
2. calls termnated unexpectedly
3. calls interupted by the operator or busy signals
4. no dial tones
5. missed or interupted business calls
6. delayed important e-mail messages, resulting in missed
appointments
7. crossed lines (calls going to different area codes and phone
numbers are patched to my line)
8. party-lines (at times when I pick up the receiver to make a
call, I can hear entire conversations by others--they can't
hear me)
All of the above has occured on both my lines. Both lines tend to disconnect at the same time. I am at wits-end, and don't know where else to turn. It is extremely frustrating trying to explain to callers that they must hurry with their messages before my phone goes dead.
