Jan 2004: We returned our digital cable box to a Comcast facility in Wheaton, Il. Wife was told by counter employee that no receipt would be given.
June 2004: Received a bill in the mail from Comcast for unreturned digital cable box. Called number on bill, explained that it was returned. Told by representative that it would be taken care of and bill deleted.
Jan 2005: Received another bill for unreturned cable box. Wrote letter to corporate office & CEO complaining of charge.

Also copied the Attorney General of Illinois. Currently working with Maurice Watson @ 630 288 1216 in "Corporate" customer service. He has stated that we have no credibility since my letter had inaccuracies. I stated that we returned the box to Aurora Il, it was Wheaton. I stated that we received a receipt, we did not. I composed the letter from memory and made these 2 mistakes. I now have no credibility. This from a company that has the "credibility" to send bills out 12 months after the fact. What were they doing for the last 6 months? What do I want with a cable box anyway? I have found 2 other instances of this fraudulent billing on this site.
