Dear Sirs/Madams:

Over the years I have had the distinct pleasure to observe Comcast supplying quality service for both residential and business in a variety of regions. If and when there were occasional problems, comcast always responded with speed and efficiency. Therefore, when I opted for cable, Comcast was my first choice!

Unfortunately, since my first request until now, 2 1/2 years have elapsed and I have yet to see the initial service request fulfilled. This problem has been investigated by some customer service reps, and management to no success. I have lost count of the # of service men who have come out to this location but still cannot provide me service. It seems unfathomable to me that so much is required for something quite standard.

I moved to the Washington DC area approximately 2 1/2 years ago (July 2000) and requested cable sometime then. The rest has been an amazing story which I am sharing with your head offices in hopes that I will be able to receive service finally.
The first technician was late, plus after looking around a long time told me he could not find the line first, then finally said that the line was cut somewhere and phoned it in as a "bad drop". I transferred this information to all others but as of yet the drop has not been fixed.

Before Christmas, I again set up another appointment from 2-8pm, waited finally until 10:15 pm that night, to be told he could not do the work. One of the managers told me, I would most assuredly get the cable setup before Christmas. The technical work or bad drop was postphoned until after new years she said because of no "email" from a manager rescheduled yet again due to the impending snow.

I am thoroughly dissappointed, dissatisfied, and highly annoyed at the lack of service due to the fact that Comcast monopolizes this area of Montgomery County. I continue to be amazed that it has taken a plethora of managers, technicians and servicemen to yield after 2 1/2 years absolutely nothing - which I was told I should pay for.

Funny enough, all I wanted was the quality digital service for two rooms - rountine comcast service such as is already delivered to other clients on my street, Instead I have had no service for a lengthy time, due to no fault of my own, and very bad customer service several senior floor representatives and personnel.

Please assist me in this very simple task. I expect a quick response and courteous service and assistance with no installation fees for all the trouble Comcast has put me through. I am sending a copy of this letter to the FCC with hopes that this will all be quickly resolved without further intervention as I am only desirous of good service.

Thank you for your time and patience,

Sincerely,

Hilary
