Comcast Xfinity 8 Visits by Technicians, Dozens of Phone Calls, Internet Does Not Live Up To Claimed Speeds Blue Island Illinois

Nine visits by technicians, dozens of calls to customer "service," "accidentally" dropped calls...and still our internet service rarely approaches the speed or quality advertised.  Page-loading metrics and performance are worse than dialup on a daily basis!  In addition to all of that, every time we call, we are told we're going to have to speak with someone in the "wi-fi" department...of course, we overheard people next to the "service" representative telling their callers the same thing, time and time again.  Is this a wi-fi problem?  If so, there's something technically wrong with Comcast's wi-fi platform.  However...Due to the modem error messages we receive, our local node is overloaded and oversold.  How is this not fraud?  We're also going through the other regular channels of complaint...first we started with Comcast, and after eight technicians' visits, now it's on to the FCC, the Better Business Burea, and the Attorney General's office, etc.  I would advise anyone who asks to not choose Comcast, and though I'm not one of those "activist" types, I'm going to do whatever I can to urge regulatory bodies to not approve the merger with Time-Warner.
