  i called 5-6 times for help with fixing the problems with my internet after installing a new modem from comcast.  I finely had one person who got it working somewhat but not 100%   I stayed up late just to get thru to a person who might be able to help with my internet problem without having to wait a long time on the phone ( most of the time what i hear is "we are experianceing a high volumn of calls so stay on the line, which could be up to 30 minutes or more. . I did get a person to help, and i did all the testing he told me to do then all at once he just hung up and left me holding the phone with no explanation. my other complaint is that comcast keeps finding ways to squeze more money out of their customers. On the latest bill I'm now being charge $1.99 each for 2 digital adapters which were offered free when comcast went digital.  we were given 2 free when comcast switch to digital and only had to pay for more than 2.  well they have changed the game again and have figured out that they can get more money by charging for what was once free adapters. the comcast rep responce was thats the waym it is, just turn them in and get the receivers the government has recomended when the change took place.  now thats what i call customer service. I would quit comcast but I have signed a contract with them. big mistake there are 3 other cable companies in our area and i would suggest that before you sign up with comcast take a look at the other options avalable in your area. every time I call say you are a valued customer, my only value to comcast is the money they get each month when i pay my bill.
