For stores that use Comenity Bank as a online payment platform, customers should be aware that when they enter the amount they want to pay, that amount decreases when you scroll down to confirm payment.  So for example, if you put in that you want to pay $100 by the time you click confirm, it might read $70.  You could see the number decreasing as you scroll down but most of us are not looking because we are searching for the confirm button.  If not caught, payers will be charged a late fee for underpayment.  This happened to me so I started paying attention.  I have contacted the stores numerous times to correct this and it stopped but I see, Comenity is not fixing it across its platform.  I think it is a deceptive practice and I tried to report it to the states attorney generals office.  Another thing that happens is, if you catch it and go back to reenter the original amount, it stops decreasing.  So you have to catch it on that first scroll down to the confirm button.
