I have stayed there a few times. I noticed they do not clean the carpets regularly. The final straw was when my wife found dog crap under a table. No letter of apology. No offer to comp the room. It is a disgusting place you should avoid if possible.

Want action? Call the health department there and send a formal complaint via certified mail, signature receipt required. If the health authorities there are on the up, they will cite the hotel and force them to get their act together.
Like many companies, even though this may be a franchised location, they do report to a corporate entity and a complaint to them wouldn't hurt either. No one should have to stay in a room where there was feces!
