Comfort Specialists Attempted to rip me off with false information in order to seel an new furnace for $2,400.00 Ripoff Orland Indiana
Called this company to fix my gas furnace in a mobile home that would not stay lite last December 2005.
Mr Denny Steel the owner of Comfort Specialists told me thtat the chimney had colapsed and needed replaced, I asked him to fix it and he said he would see if the parts were available.
After two days I contacted Mr Steel and he told me that the parts were no longer available, I asked if he could fabricate a new chimney and he said no it would be two much liability on his part but he could sell me a new furnace installed for $2400.00.
I got on the internet and went to the Coleman web site and found the part in ten minites for $69.00, ordered it and had it in 4 days and installed it myself.
This man then had the gall to bill me $105.00 for nothing but his call. He lives across the stree from me and thought he was a good neighbor. Since then I have heard he has done simular things to other people and gotten away with it, he needs to be stopped.
