Complaint Review: Commerce Barter.Org Aka Commerce Barter.Com

I signed up for this program on 11/2/08 for their "Hot Plan" $300 sign-up bonus at 1400%. After rolling it over once in their "Make Deposit" category, I requested a withdraw. I was advised I needed to deposit $100 to my Liberty Reserve account and then transfer that amount into their Liberty Reserve account---which I did. I did not receive their $300 sign up bonus or any of the requested withdraw amount.

I challenged them through their support system and received no response. I finally was able to communicate with a moderator on their online support site. They advised that I lost my $100. I quoted to this person from their FAQ section which stated: Can I lose my money. Their answer stated No, that it was 100% guaranteed and that they would refund. Their moderator's response was: They would refund my money back if Liberty Reserve would unlock their account. They further advised I needed to contact Liberty Reserve--which I did.

I contacted Liberty Reserve Business Department and wrote: I transferred $100 from my LR account to Commerce Barter's LR acct ####### and have asked Commerce Barter to refund my money back since they have not paid any of the withdrawn profits into my LR account. I also advised LR people that Commerce Barter advised that their LR account ####### was locked.

My last sentence to Liberty Reserve was: Since this particular account is locked/frozen--could it be that Commerce Barter is a scam?

In just a few hours after this email Commerce Barter blocked my IP address and all of those in my downline. In addition, I never received a response back from Liberty Reserve which makes me wonder if they are kosher.

In my subsequent research on this company (Commerce Barter) I found out they are located in Instambul, Turkey. Fortunately, I only lost $100 to this scam--but my advice to everyone is to beware of this company and other similar websites making similar offers.

20/20 hindsight--I wish I would have done my research beforehand and not after I got ripped-off. I hope this report will help others from being ripped by this company or other such sites.
