CIP is the managing company for Torrey Pines Apartments in Omaha, NE. They will ripoff good and bad tenants for their security deposit of $350.00 dollars by coming up with charges that don't exist. Furthermore they will take legal action against you and attempt to ruin your credit rating until you pay up for charges that your should have not been billed. This company is completely untrustworthy, and very unprofessional in all their landland pratices. DON'T RENT FROM THEM!

They also make you pay the utilities after you have moved out of the apartment so that their hired contractors have heat or air-conditioning and lighting at your expense.

A friend of mine had the samp problem with CIP, would'nt give her back her deposit n she is on low income housing. I helped her move when I was living in Lincoln and they had told her they would mail her deposit in a week,,, 3 weeks had passed n still no check, till I got on the phone with them, they tried to make up the excuse that there was damage in the apartment n the check for her refund will not be issued. (i did the smart thing b4 she moved in to that apartment, took pictures of the apartment throughout n took pics of the CIP agent whom showed her it)

They shut up in a hurry when they seen the pics :) and refunded her money too.

Then they tried the ol utility charge as well, didnt work after I contacted a prominent attorney there n told him what was goin on.
