In May of 2005 I was contacted by Community Reading Club of Fitzgerald Ga. The contact was to inform me I would be entered into sweepstakes, 100's of thousand of dollars in cash. Also would 1052 prizes awarded. Plus also to purchase magazine subscriptions, they would include complimentary magazines.

Needless to say I didn't win anything.

I have been contacted by them several times, in what I thought was just following up my account.

Recently reviewing my banking account statements, I realized that CRC of Fitzgerald was drafting my account 2 times monthly. I called the company January 9, 2006, but it was after hours so I left a voice message. I have not received a response.

I called again on January 13. The operator, or telemarketer, was not helpful. She informed me there were two accounts in my name. I don't recall setting up a second account. When I requested that at least one account be canceled, she told me I would have to send a check or money order for $79.00. I told her that was ridiculous.

When I requested to cancel both accounts she told me I couldn't. When I told her I would write the company, she hung up on me.

I have made a complaint to the Better Business Bureau of Southwest Georgia.
