Community Reading Club Of The Firelands ripoff, would not issue credit for first payment when I called to cancel Elyria Ohio
I had agreed to sign for magazines, but I didn't realize that it would be costing over $800 for 5 years. I called within 7 days, Dec. 14th, 2005, to cancel and was told no credit for the first payment would be issued, only a year's subscription.
Tried to strong arm me into picking a magazine by saying "Pick one or I will pick one for you". I refused and called and cancelled my credit card. They also threatened to send to a collection agency if the payment was not made. The "customer service" rep then hung up on me. Her name is Angela.
