Purcharsed Presario 700 Notebook in May of 2002. Had problems from day one. Jumped through all the hoops the many (different one every time) tech support people prescribed, to no avail. Sent computer back with notes of problems. Computer returned, not one of the problems had been fixed.

Returned it again, and when it came back it wouldn't even boot up, even though the letter said your system passed diagnostic testing after repairing the LCD hinges. The LCD hinge was never one of the problems I was having. I wanted to send it back. They said I could not send it back without waiting another two days for a boot disk, and then they would determine the problem once I, again, had to perform more frustrating, and as yet, unfruitful tasks.

I'm a computer USER. They are the TECHNICAL EXPERTS. They should take it back and fix it or replace it. If I wait another couple of months it will be out of warranty and they probably wont talk to me at all without getting paid. They should have some regard for the quality of work they perform.

I HAVE NOT HAD ONE SINGLE DAY OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION FROM THIS COMPANY FOR THE EIGHT MONTHS I'VE OWNED A COMPAQ. . Doesn't anyone at Compaq or HP care about customer service or satisfaction?
