Compass Group USA Jamie Ballew Compass Group USA Heists College Student for $1,200 Charlotte, North Carolina
I was ripped off by a college food service that was rescinded and
unused due to unbecoming service encounter with Compass Group USA.
Throughout the last one and a half years, Compass Group deceptively
lied to me saying that they never did offer services for my college,
before coming out with the truth in Apr of 2011.
Company personnel, Jamie Ballew voluntarily and intentionally ripped me off
for $1,200. I was faultily ripped off for a meal plan that was
rescinded and never once used for the Spring semester of 2010 at
Southern Polytechnic State Varsity. The meal plan was rescinded after
a negative service encounter in August of 2009 in which Jamie Ballew
incorrectly (location manager) handled a case of misconduct of a
Compass Group Associate. Next semester ( Spring of 2010 ) I was taken
for $1,200 for the dining service plan when it was canceled and never
once used.
I finally made contact with a school official in August of 2011, and she said that compass group has my cash payment and asked, "They did not contact you?" To which I answered "No."
In a recorded communication with Jamie Ballew on Nov. Fifteenth, 2010, the company manager that caused me to cancel the contract, Jamie said that he heard "something
about the way in which the company received funds for services not
rendered on my behalf," and that my cash "went to the
state." But when I replied stating that, in turn, the funds were
routed back to Compass Group USA, Incorporated, the boss said that he
"had to buy food."
The conversation was recorded.
They hoped that nothing would occur as a consequence ( which I
imagine would be the case with many college students ) but to my
demise that is not the predicament here.
The company contacts,
Jamie Ballew, and Ron intentionally and willingly committed a tort of
wrongful interference with a contractual relationship.
The provisions of termination were that one may cancel the meal plan at
any time by "letting the business office know at any time."
The plan was canceled, but the charge remained.
Went to their service with my own credit card 5 times since then, so as not to use
the meal plan, which was obviously considered business treated
disrespectfully.
Last time I filed a case against this
company, I received a response, saying that this is the wrong entity, which was a manifest commencement to avoid the matter.
Will follow up again after filing legal proceedings (for the 3rd time)
in Cobb County exactly where their registered agent is located. At
this point the event has heisted over $14,000 worth of my time as a
astute professional with a degree in Management and Chemistry.
