Manager Shawn Madison refuses to return $8,000.00 money collected to rent a rat infested rodent waste filled storage unit #C153. Compass collected monthly rent for over three years. We are Hurricane Sandy Victims! We stored the third level of our home contents and went to retrieve items since our house is now restored. I immediately got front desk girl Amanda to see dead rat and rodent urine and fecal matter covering our king size bed, box springs, microwave, and all contents in rented unit. Amanda told us to leave all contents and that she would call Mgr. To have everything thrown out. The insurance to cover contents is $2,000 this covers some of the contents what about the $8,000.00 compass collected in rent from us???? I want rental money returned! The unit was clean when we placed items in unit they collected $8k on a rat infested unit! Shawn Madison lied to BBB saying claim was settled online! He lied! No claim was settled and we want all of our rental money back!
