CompleteHome - Great Fun Memberships - Trilegiant Corporation ripoff membership to both called to cancel both. have no idea where they got my name Trumbull Connecticut
"Complete Home" customer service rep, Tobias, told me I will be cancelled as a member. Problem is I never joined them to begin with.
He claimed I joined at Lowes when I know for a fact I didn't. I never say yes to anything, it's my policy. He gave me my cancellation number.
I haven't checked my credit card yet but I will as soon as possible. Another membership alert came in the mail from "Great Fun". Same company, Trilegiant Corporation.
I went thru the whole voice mail jargon and finally got another Customer Service Rep. Lakyea. What was odd about this one. I received my cancellation number viva voice mail and verified this number with Lakyea. She said it was not correct and gave me another cancellation number.
I have never been a member of either of these companies and would not join no matter what was offered.
I've had problems with this type of mail before from a 'Rewards' company that claimed I joined thru Lane Bryant when I know for a fact I didn't.
I cancelled the so called membership after being billed thru my credit card. I cancelled that credit card because they said they seen no wrong doing of this rewards company. If the credit card company couldn't help me the only thing I could do was drop them like a hot rock.
If my only existing credit card is being violated by these parasites I'm not sure what to do?

As I scanned thru my credit report, I have two more scam bills.
Galleria USA (They had an incorrect email when I 'joined' and would not give me a cancellation number.
Premierhealthplus, once I got thru over five minutes on hold, I told 'Nestor' (if that's his real name?) that I wanted to cancel and that I did not believe I was ever a member. He hung up on me. (the line became silent and then I got a busy signal)
I called back, got a 'Dimario' and all he gave me was a name and ID number. Parasites....

I've tracked down the website I went to to end up with all the unknown membership bills:
Complete Home $8.99 month
Great Fun $8.99 month
Auto Gold $9.99 month
and Bargain Network $19.80 a month
are being run by the Trilegiant corporation that is associated with the "National Card Registry". I do remember going to that website but don't remember ever signing up. There might have been a 'free' credit check?
Each call I made to cancel was the same boiler room background, the same voice mail in english and spanish and the same voice mail questions that initially give me a cancellation number...I hold for a live person and each time they give me another cancellation number (the last guy told me the voice mail one still listed me as being a member)
Now there's a crafty move!!! So for all you impatient ones who can't hold too long on the phone...you better.
