Compuplus Benefits ripoff, withdrawl of funds, without authorization St. Petersburg Florida
April 27th I received a call from a company telling me that I had applied for a credit card, and that it could help to build my credit.
I had about 2 months ago, I was told that I had qualified for a mastercard with a spending limit of $2500.
I was told that there was a one time membership fee of $354.90, and that once I received the benefit package with my card I could use it to have a $500 cash advance to cover the membership fee, and get the funds back into my account.
I was also offored a computer, but refuse it. Today, May 9th I noticed on my bank account that there had been a withdrawl of $354.90.
I got suspicios that they had taken the money, and I had not received the information that they promised, so i called the number that they had given me. I was told that it would take 21 days for the packet to arrive.
On a search on the web I found that I wasn't the only one that they were scaming. This people need to be stopped, when hard working people like us are trying to re-build our credit we don't need people like this making it worse for us.
