COMPUSA RIpoff Runaround
I purchased a COMPUSA/WESTERN DIGITAL 40GB HARD DRIVE in late 2001. I never received the $50.00 Rebate. The Rebate status report states that it was denied because "STORE RECEIPT NOT SUBMITTED"
This is not true! I sent the form and the receipt on the day I purchased the Drive. Also I charged the purchase and showed the store manager the VISA statement showing the purchase!
He gave me a phone number (1-800-278-4685) where I was told to call another number, which I had already called twice without results!
I doubt if you can help me. They're big and organized! But thanks for the opportunity to vent.
