Around Christmas 2005, CompUSA advertised a Thermaltake Mambo computer case sale with manufacturer (Thermaltake) mail-in rebate of $15.00. I purchased the product on 12/28/05. I filled out the rebate completely, mailed to the address on the form which is in Detroit, MI, within a few days after 12/28. On the rebate form, CompUSA gives a web link, www.web-rebates.com/thermaltake, to check the status rebate. I went there this morning, enter my physical address, and the web site does not find my rebate. I went to the home page, web-rebates.com, and it only mentioned rebates sent to Mesa, Arizona. I went to CompUSA web site, under the rebate tracking link. The page list all the rebate mailing addresses where you can search for your rebate, and Detroit, MI is not one of them!! I went to Thermaltake web site, and on their rebate page, CompUSA and Mambo Case is not listed, only tigerdirect, newegg and other products are listed. Obviously, this is a scam from both CompUSA and Thermaltake. I demand CompUSA and Thermaltake to resolve the issue because it has been almost a month since I mailed out the rebate. Please don't blame on the US postal service. Your web sites don't even have any information regarding the rebate.

It has been a little over 3 weeks, during which there were two holidays. I would imagine they haven't even opened your envelope yet. On the rebate web site how many weeks does it say to allow for processing? I am willing to bet it is 6 weeks.
