I purchased over ten thousand dollars worth of computer training from New Horizons Computer Training as well as a "new" computer. The computer that was delivered was obviously a remanufactured piece of garbage.

As soon as I opened the box, I could tell I was in trouble. Where the 3 1/2" floppy drive should have been was a big gaping hole, also it contained no network card as promised, the modem would not dial out and the video card was so antiquated that it would not function with the monitor which they sold me.

When I took the computer back to them, they had their tech play with it for two weeks at which time it was returned to me with a floppy drive installed and a new network card, but they could not or would not repair the other problems. They claimed that I would have to take it up with the manufacturer, a company with whom they refuse to do business with anymore because of shady dealings. Upon calling their home offices in California, I was told that because they are independently managed, there is nothing they could do. So much for the security of dealing with a large nationally recognizable corporation.

I am now the proud owner of an $800 paperweight. For your own sake, steer clear of these people.

I am not sure what this person is talking about buying a computer from: New Horizons Computer Learning Centers?? We provide computer training.
Not one of our locations sells Computers? We sell computer training? Henc New Horizons Computer LEARNING Center?

New Horizons Prouds itself on working with B2B in helping them keep up with the changes in software and technology.

If this person bought a computer from the Same New Horizons Computer Learning Center, from a computer training school, then he must have bought a used computer they were getting rid of?
or on the side? so he got what he paid for.
He was up set with the $800 computer, but no compliants about the $10,000 worth of training? which is what New Horizons Does!
