Computer Learning Center Aka ClickBank Aka CLKBANK ripoff - return guarantee fraud Internet
Computer Learning Center advertises home-based data entry positions making huge profits. Their website lists them as "recommended" by a consumer advocacy group and even provides a link to the website for consumer-advocacy. So, it seems it may be for real.
I did a little Googling, then checked the Better Business Bureau website and found no complaints about Computer Learning Center. With all I didn't find, I thought it might be worth a shot.
Wrong! Computer Learning Center is actually part of ClickBank. Their Data Entry Training Course is really just a short course on how to SPAM blogs and newsgroups, or purchase classified adspace for large companies.
The course promises you will be paid by using a special tracking number as an offer code in the ads you place; you will be contacted in 45 to 60 days to set up your account in order to start receiving payment for your services!
So, I ordered the course, read through it, and decided I wanted to delete it and get my money back. I then found there was no cancellation link or phone number anywhere in the email they sent me, nor on the website. I emailed the info address with a question, and received an automated response thanking me for my input.
This all irked me well, so I called my credit card company to stop payment. My advisor told me there are a lot of complaints from people who are charged for various items from CLKBANK. Mine is one more!
