I used to work for this company for quite some time until I discovered some corruption. I reported it to DCJS, but the present owner of the company is on the board of directors!, so no luck there.(I got no reply) As you know, in Virginia, to be a security officer, you have to be registered through the state, whether it be for armed or unarmed.

Now, I started with this company as an unarmed officer, and 3 months later went to take my class for armed. 4 days after the completion of the class, I was fired because I had not purchased a gun yet. I also had friends who were working for the company who were fired also, for almost similiar reasons as mine. One was fired for chewing gum on the job. Two weeks before I was fired, I was asked to help out with some paperwork in the office. I was looking through some of the bills that were to be sent to clients for the protection services we were providing them, and one of these clients, Ferguson Enterprises, a major plumbing provider and contractor, was being billed for hours that weren't even worked! I know because I was the site supervisor.

I tried to report it to Russ, the person who pays us for our services at Ferguson, but he was out of his office at the time I called..

What really did me in was talking to the boss about this. He explained that I had no idea what I was talking about and told me that he would talk to me about it later. I went to my assigned site the next day only to discover that there was someone else there! When I inquired about this, I was given an envelope and told I could pick up my check next week. I asked what's going on, and I was told, "You're fired". When I got my check,

I was supposed to turn in my uniforms to the company. I looked at my check, (which I will make a copy of the stub for anyone who is interested,)and they took out over 150.00 for all the uniforms! (None of which I had anymore)

Well, at this point I was furious. I tried to get the problem solved, but to no avail.

I would advise anyone looking for a job in the private security industry to steer clear of CSIG, Inc. They don't value their employees, they don't abide by state regulations, and they also don't abide by Dept. of Labor standards for reimbursing money for gas. They sweet talk the clients and then overcharge them, while providing services that are worth far less than what the client is paying for.

As for anyone looking for private security to protect your property, you have been warned. I would appreciate any feedback on this incident.

Interesting..I have read your report on Computer Security Intelligence Group, Inc. I know all the allegations to be false. The fact that you reported this information without verification I believe makes you liable for slander. This report may have cost the company (and of course you in excess of $400,000.) Rest assured that their legal dept is looking into this as I type this letter. I highly recommend that you immediately cease and desist all of this inaccurate information immediately. Be ready to turn over the individual who gave you the information. If he worked for the company and told these lies in is in violation of several DCJS regulations as well as some VA. State lawsnot to mention the civil hot water he is resting in.

The Department of Criminal Justice Service is regulated by the state of Virginia by which no owner of CSIG sits on the board now or ever. Please feel free to contact them at 804-786-4700. Please ask them about the companys current standing and what the fines are for just such an allegation would be. Also ask them if anyone reported such an incident. Also ask them what would have happen if someone did report any type of violation on this or any company under DCJS jurisdiction.

Surely you should have known better than to trust someone who claims to only have been there for a few months and had access to financial information about clients. I dont know any company who would allow a low level employee access to this type of information. Second, he claims to have gone to the dept. of labor. Please contact them and attempt to verify this information.

At no time has CSIG engaged in fraud against the client mentioned. If they had done this then they would have been brought up on charges with DCJS. All clients have this right under the regulations. Again, please check with DCJS. Furthermore, no one by the name of Russ has ever dealt with CSIG in any capacity.

All employees sign a letter of financial responsibility. It states that if for any reason you quit or are terminated for cause, you will pay for all uniforms and equipment that YOU ordered. If this individual ordered $150.00 worth of uniforms and was terminated for cause, then yes he paid for them. If this was unjust or illegal then again the dept. of labor and DCJS would have investigated. This did not happen. He offered to show copies of his stub-I want to see it. All officers signed a letter of understanding stating that it was a requirement that they become armed within 30 days of employment, failure to do that they would be subject to termination. Even though VA. Is a terminate at will state, at no time has CSIG, Inc. ever terminated an employee for chewing gum. The allegation is ridiculous!

Finally, this is obviously a former disgruntled employee who was terminated because he did not take his job or his certification serious. This type of employee is a danger to his fellow officers and the clients by which he was hired to protect. This typed of employee will never be welcomed at CSIG and if this makes CSIG, Inc. a bad company then maybe I have a misguided view on what a good company should be like. If it turns out to be M. Williams or J. Midgette, then I am sure DCJS will find it interesting since they still fall under their jurisdiction. I believe the penalty is $2500 for each offense.

If you have any questions on this statement or any other allegation on this company, please dont hesitate to contact the company directly at 757-888-9652. Ask for any of the CEOs. I am sure they will be contacting you.
