Complaint Review: Concorde Career College

The Concorde Career College in KC, MO is just as bad as the ones in California and Colorado appear to be. It is apparent the longer I am in Concorde, the only interest they have is the money. The 'state of the art skills lab' I was told about, DOES NOT EXIST. Our skills consisted of us having to use unrelated equipment and 'pretending' we were using whatever piece of equipment we should have been using. Our lectures have consisted of the instructor either reading word from word out of the book or off a power point.

The school pushes the 'professionalism' requirements down your throat, but the most unprofessional people in the school is between the administration and instructors. One particular instructor is very condescending to students, has even called us incompetent, is historically not prepared for class etc.

tutoring is a joke, if it ever happens. Administration will post tutoring times on the bulletin board, but when someone goes in to be tutored, there is no one there to do it.

Taking complaints to administration is nothing but a waste of time. I have personally seen the backlash to the student who has complained or tried to address a concern with administration.

This school expects everything from the student but is very good at ignoring the FACT that the student also has expectations of the school. Those expectations are not being met on any level.

Anyone considering Concorde needs to rethink it and run as far and as fast as they can in the other direction and find something else.
