Coninental Casualty Insurance CNA, VALLEY FORGE SURVEILLANCE: Holding up already established payments, due "TYPICAL/STANDARD REVIEW" Chicago, Illinois
* My lower & upper back/spine: 3 years worth and 17 + operations/procedures. Therapist's and MD's alike all felt in the beginning that an ultimate goal was realistic - not to be permanently retired at 51 years old. Adding only that my independence and taking care of myself proved 2 b far more time and money consuming.
* Requirements, time-lines, and dead-lines were met satisfactory. Benefits began at the end of the waiting period and on a limited basis. Turn around time with their processing was slow at best. I monitored the billing statement submission and subsequent receipt for reimbursement - 10 days at the best, and currently counting up the weeks - 14 weeks to be precise.
* Everyone is unique and needs are substantially different and dynamic. My needs are as unique. But since that has all been satisfied (no less than 3 over the last almost 4 years + plus this last one with a harassing attitude placed me over the emotional edge.
*Bottom line: I received no notice that our claim was under lengthy review. Had I not queried then, (after 5 elapsed weeks, yes) to date I wouldnt know what the devil is going on. They have thrown out a ton of legal and regulation jargon to make me waste time. No paperwork, just no straight answers and I'm taking it up the line as we speak.
