Complaint Review: Conn Credit

Conn Credit Gave inaccurate account number and caused payment to sit in a holding file. Refuses to accept accurate account number via fax and insists on another payment. Beaumont, Texas

A WU Quick Collect payment was sent to Conn Credit but the representative at the company left off a crucial number for the individual's account. They received payment, but continued to harass the customer because they couldn't "find" the payment. After numerous calls to and from Conn's with all the proper numbers being given, the Western Union agent who sent the number intervened and reported it to their service department. It was confirmed with a phone call to Conn that yes they indeed received a payment, but couldn't credit it because the account number wasnt accurate. Conn's requested a copy of the receipt with the information to be faxed to them. This was done, but even after being faxed a SECOND time, they still are harassing the client.
A request has been sent to Conn's to return the payment.
