Our double oven purchased from this store went out after 22 months of service. We called the store to see if the warranty was still good. We were informed that the warranty had expired and a service call would cost $75. We agreed, but when the service person inspected the oven we were told that the computer was out and the cost to repair the oven was $600 for the part and $400 dollars for labor to install. We refused to pay that amount because we only paid $1050 for the oven new from their store. After checking with Whirlpool we found out the cost of the main module was $115 and it would only take about 5 minutes to install because it only required plugging into the oven. The model number of the oven is RBD245PDQ15 for verification purposes. I believe the quoted price is a complete overcharge attempt on their part and would welcome a response from them regarding this matter.
