We had bought a Mitsibushi Tv from Conn's in 2001,priced around $1,800, it had a 4 year warranty on it which expires on Feb. 26,2005. The Tv quit working the 1st part of January 2005. We contacted Conn's, they sent a guy out to look at it, he took the back off, looked for about 5 seconds, said it was full of mold. The television had been in water, he said. Asked if our house had flooded, we are setting on top of a hill, hmmm, no I dont think our house flooded.

He was going to turn his report in and either fix the Tv or we would get a new one. A couple weeks went by, we tried to contact them, no-one would ever call back. Finally hey said they was waiting on the part and it would be 3 more days, well another 9 days goes by no one ever called us on the matter. In the mean time we went by the store 2 different times, of course no-one knows anything.

Finally after all this time they were going to fix it, they said that it could not be fixed and we had an in store credit of $435, so when we come up with another $1500 bucks I guess we can get another big screen. Anyways the Tv has never been flooded, it went from one house we had, to a storage building that we purchased, thats is setting 16 inches off the ground to our house that we live in now. Bottom line --they did not warranty what they sold us, I dont think $435 is no where near what the Tv is worth considering it will cast 5 times that to replace it, I think it is a screw up--its not suppose to quit until the warranty goes out. Thanks for your time.
