Complaint Review: Connor Addis

Connor Addis operates a real estate business in Chicago selling forclosed properties. This business is called Cecilia Consulting/ Cecilia USa LLC. Connor promoted the properties were obtained straight from the banks. His business model involves, buying the properties from the banks then flipping or onselling them at a price which was still under the market value. Connor promised returns of at least 20% in 4 months.

Connor presented a property to me as being in good condition, with a current rental return of $1500 per month.  Connor claimed the property would be onsold within 4 months for a considerable profit and offered a buy back clause in the contract if this did not occur. Connor fraudulently obtained $13,500 from me by claiming nor he or Cecilia USA LLC would make its return until the property was onsold/.flipped after my purchase. He claimed this multiple times including in a face to face meeting. 

Upon transferring my funds via a solicitor, Connor received $13,500. Had I known this, I would never have purchased the property as there was no incentive for Connor to onsell it. I requested from Connor details of where the rental income was being paid. Upon being pressured to provide details, Connor conceded that no rent was being paid. I contacted Connor requesting execution of the contract buyback clause however Connor would not honour this. I have since found out the 2nd floor unit is unoccupied & requires significant repairs to bring it up to a rentable standard.

Connor presents himself as very trustworthy, however he continually lies to the point he can not recall what he has said or portrayed.

DO NOT DEAL WITH HIM. YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!!!!
