I purchased an AKAI television from Conns in Houston, Texas. About 6 months after getting the television, it would go black but you could hear the sound. We contacted customer service several times with Conns and it was always Oh, you have to contact AKAI. Every time I made a payment at the Willowbrook, Texas location I would always complain to someone about it. Including so called supervisors. Always the same story, I will have someone contact you. That has never happened. As, I've purchased several items from them; my revenge on the poor customer service is that I will NEVER purchase anything from Conns again. Now that the warranty has run out and the television does not work, I took it to the shop. A television that cost over 1000.00 is going to cost me over 500.00 to repair. Still no contact from Conns or AKAI.

you can't get conns to honer their contract..I tried to take them to court and I found out their contract is a worthless peace of paper.I bought a icebox from them and they delevered it and set it up..Had water in the door.The next day I left town on my job and was gone for 2 weeks.That icebox was defected and popped and pumpped 25000 galans of water through my new mobile home..Conns never came out to look at the dammage and refused to pay for the dammages.I've seen some of my family members that could never get conns to do repair work..
