Conrad's Appliance Service service call, did nothing to fix problem, charged over and above rate quoted. Rip-off! Port Orange Florida
Refrigerator was making noise, called Conrad Appliance because of ad, advertising service call for $18.95. Service man spent 10 minutes here opened refrigerator turned freezer knob down. Said the noise which he claimed he didn't hear at first, was the fan and it needed dusting. The refrigerator was so loud we had to turn tv up to drown it out.
In reality him turning down the knob to the freezer temporarily turned the fan off which was making noise, which made me feel it was fixed. We discovered this was not true about 30 minutes later when the freezer kicked back on. The ice cream got soft, we immediatly turned the knob back up to freeze things in the freezer. The noise is louder than ever.
Needless to say for a 10 minute visit, the service man basically turned down the freezer and walked out with a check. Not for $18.95 as he advertised, but for $39.95 because he says there was service rendered (so he charged us $20.00 to turn the freezer down)...
