Conseco Finance Rip-off Fraudulent Billing Dishonest Business Practices! St Paul Minnesota
It is not hard to believe in thease days of insider trading and unfair business dealings that there is yet another company out their riping off hard working americans. About five years ago I wanted to buy a newer home for myself and my children. Being single and not having the talent, time or money to build I did what I felt was the next best thing. I purchased a new double wide trailer. I wanted to go through my credit union but was told through conseco fiancial service that I would cut a lot of red tape if I went through them. I was a first time home owner and did not know that they deal with high risk loans.
This was the begining of a nightmare that I can not wake up from.In the five years I have owned this home I have had about five late payments. I was serverly injured on the job and have lost my wages due to legal loop holes in the workers comp system. I have tried to work with conseco when my payments were to be late. This was made more difficult due to the rude, unprofessional, and non english speaking people in the customer service dept.
When I have made arrangements with them it has always been honered on or before the date arranged. They usually call me every other day and threaten me with forecloser ect. I had my insurance added into my house payment, I was paying about a 100% over what I am paying by a independant company. Ther company misrepresented them self & we were not getting what we paid for. Our principal has come down only slightly, most of the payment is on intrest even after five years.
There are unexplained charges on my bill. I have tried to clear up several times each time I was promised that it would be looked into and never is. Since then I have found out that this is a common practice with conseco. I want to know if a class action law suite is ever filed or even how to get one started. I can not belive that we do not have any recourse. If nothing else I want to spair people the HELL that I have been through.
Stay away from conseco financial company at all cost. I am praying that we can refinance this home and the land it is on but I do not belive we have enough paid off even after five years of payments. I can not express myself enough. Buyer Bewere !! Stay away from Conseco finance!!

I check this web site frequently to see if I can get any information about a class action law suit, so far no information has been provided. It breaks my heart to see that so many people are having the same problems that I have been going through. They sound so familure,it is as if they are reading a script.
I cancled my insurance that I carred with conseco in December. It is now March and I finally got them to cancle it but now I found out that they have applied about $280.00 of my payment in Feb. to the insurance that was cancled in Dec.
I have had my new insurance agent fax over the new policy about three times, I have made several phone calls,I have talked to several different people, I have written several letters all no no avail. I have threatened them with legal law suit and a month ago they wanted to make "nice" with out admitting any fault and they offered out of the kindness of there greedy little harts to lower my payments and reduce the intrest rates for six months. I had to except because I am still out of work and stuck in worker's comp Hell.
I have been paying on this loan for six years yet my balance has hardly come down. Know one that I have talked to can explain that to me. When I have talked to people at Conseco and told them of the treatment I and many others have had I have had almost all of them say that they have heard of this on many occasions.
One lady called me up and started yelling at me (at least she spoke english)and I told her that she was creating a HUGE Karma debt. She asked me just "what do you mean by that?" I told her that she better start treating people with a little respect because she might be out of a job soon due to her company filing bankrupcy and she was going to be the one late on her bills and maybe someone would be yelling at her on the end of the phone. She did not get it. It is not that I am wishing this on anyone because it has been hell for me.
I just do not under stand How they can get away with the things that they are doing. If any one out there hase filed a law suit or knows of any one who has or better yet if any one knows how to get a class action law suit started, PLEASE let the rest of us know.
I have no income comming in my workers comp case is in litagation. I have had two spinal surgies including a spinal fussion in three places a dual rod spinal system put in and then removed and three disc decompression.
I got hurt at work and have been out of work for almost two years. I won a retraining plan that would of provided me with an income but they appealed it so My significant other has had to assume the whole responsibility of our fianances. We are having a very hard time because I use to contribute about 33 thousands a year and with out that we have been having a lot of financial problems.
Wish me luck in about an hour I will once again be on the phone to the much hated conseco devils. If anyone out there can help me with my legal inquiries resopnd to my rip off report. May God be with each and everyone of you and thank you for letting me vent.

I felt that I needed to add a comment to my original statement. As I read some of the Conseco Ripoff reports I could not belive the comment from Tammy Conseco Employee. First of all God love ya for having the Guts to make your crule, uneducated, yet personal observation. I was never "Habitually Late" Or "Have every form of bad luck known to man inflicted upon them." I was and remain a single women of four children who struggled to put herself through college, paid her own way along the way, worked a job that I LOVED as an Oncologly nurse only to be injured not once but twice, and under go two very complacated surgerys and then be told that my place of employment can "No Longer Accommodat My Injury !!" I am now stuck in Worker Comp HELL neither drawing benefits or able to get a job any were else up and including my local Mc Donalds franchise. I had disability insuranse that I was paying for but I am now told doesn't exist. I am watching my beloved significant other Kill his self to keep us a float. How did we bring this on ourselves ? In the five years that we have had this loan we have only been late about five times, each time we have tried to work with them only to be threatened, verbably abused, ect. I am now in the court system to try to get retraing paid for and IF It Is GOD's Will maybe my benefits will be reinstated long enough for me to get through yet more college and MAYBE, Just Maybe be able to keep our home and not have to file Bankrupcy like Your company is doing. You should be ashamed of your self rightious ways and may the Creator Spair you and your family as you look for a new job with your Healthy, Non Broken down physical, and mental Self. I Wish no Harm on you and yours and may you never Know what I and many others of Conseco "Breaker of Dreams and life Distroying, Un Lawful, Decietful and Fraudulent Practices have done, To our lives and dreams !!!"
